BSO Fireworks Proms 2010

The BSO is now well under way with its ever-popular Fireworks Proms, with successful weekends at Wilton House and Osborne House playing to over 10,000 people.

There is still time for you to bring friends, family, picnic and favourite tipple, and join the BSO at Meyrick Park, Bournemouth and Broadlands, Romsey, and celebrate the best classical music together with fantastic fireworks.

Whether your taste is for a traditional Last Night of the Proms night, something a little more poppy with our ABBA Symphonic Spectacular, or just a selection of great music as part of our celebration of the 200th anniversary of Bournemouth at Meyrick Park (with a rousing Proms in the Park concert of classical greats which celebrate everything to do with the sea and Galactic Classics, a concert featuring the best in space film music including 2001: A Space Odyssey, Star Wars, E.T. and Avatar, as well as a few of Holst's Planets too), there is something to suite all tastes.

All concerts culminate in a fantastic fireworks finale and new for this year, we shall be featuring choreographed fountains of fire, not seen before in the UK!

Tickets for all concerts are just £21 in advance (£24 on the day) with children's tickets at £13 available at the gate of each venue.
