An integral part of any Christmas is seeing a ballet and ther is only one master of ballet music - Tchaikovsky - the best of which is included in two suites from his most famous scores. Thus an evening full of princesses and princes, fairy godmothers and mouse-kings awaits. Other fairytales are featured too, with favourite moments from Humperdinck's opera and an enchanting musical interpretation of Oscar Wilde's more modern classic, conducted by the composer Debbie Wiseman.
